It looks like an ordinary case ... but it's securely holding your weapon.
Completely concealed while in plain view.
When I started to carry a self-defense pistol, I tried many different holster styles: shoulder, IWB (in the waistband), ankle. None of them were comfortable, and none of them set my mind at ease that if I were ever in a situation where I had to defend myself, that I could draw quickly enough to do so. In my state, open carry isn't an option.
I researched old and long forgotten holster styles. I paid attention to policemen and the types of holsters they prefer. I questioned what the laws actually said about carrying a concealed weapon, and what concealment was generally understood to mean. After all that, I started to tinker with ideas, then made a few prototypes, and finally settled on a design for a holster that:
- Allows for concealed carry right on the hip.
- Allows for your firearm to be as secure as a retention holster.
- Allows for one-handed opening of the holster for an easy draw.
- Allows for the proper placement (on the hip) so as to have the most efficient and fastest draw possible.
- Allows for the holster cover itself to act as a panel so that when you draw, your clothing is kept out of the way of the firearm, and practically eliminates the chance of snagging.
- Allows for the ability to carry a spare, fully loaded magazine (one magazine if double-stack, two if single stack) right in the holster, so that you don't have a magazine pouch on your belt to draw attention to yourself, or have a rather heavy-when-filled magazine bouncing around in your pocket.
After many attempts at developing something that didn't look awful, met my own high expectations of quality, functionality, and reliability, and was small and compact enough to not draw attention, the Pistol Pouch was born.
The Pistol Pouch isn't for everyone, nor is it for every weapon. Constructed in 9 oz. (1/8" thick) belt leather stock and nickel-plated brass rivets, its designed to handle a compact or sub-compact semi-automatic pistol - as small as a Makarov or Walther PPK, up to a Glock 19 or 23, and every size in between.
It comes standard with a belt loop for hip carry, and if you order the optional shoulder strap, there is a set of D-rings mounted to the sides, and an adjustable 3/4" wide leather strap included for shoulder-carry.
Features
- Secure closure with no locks or latches.
- Design allows for interchangability of holster webbing to accomodate different pistols by simply swapping out the internal component.
- Your firearm is as secure as a retention holster.
- One-handed opening of the holster for a quick and easy draw.
- Can be worn on the hip or hung from your shoulder, enabling the most efficient and fastest draw possible.
- Holster cover itself acts as a panel to keep clothing out of the way of the firearm during draw.
- Ability to carry a spare, fully loaded magazine right in the holster.

Reviews
"The leather work is quite impressive, and looks like it will take years and years of abuse without dropping a stitch, popping a rivet, or even fading. The leather is thick, built to withstand pretty much anything an active gunnie could dish out and then some."
